During Oct.7~8, the IEM department took part in the IEET (Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan) accreditation review. IEM has put much effort in advancing the quality of our education & other various areas, many of which were the focus in the 2-day on-site assessment.
Logistics, which plays a key role in the supply chain, is the last mile for delivering products to the end customers. Thus, delivered product tracking has become a basic service for global on-line orders.
Parent's Visiting Activity: In-depth look into counseling and learning resources of IEM at YZU
IEM department held a school-visit on Nov. 23 for parents of the IEM students. Contents included introducing the counseling and learning resources in IEM, the work opportunities and the industry trend of IEM. This activity aims to familiarize the participants with our school education philosophy and principle in turn to strengthen their confidence in choosing studying in the field of IEM at YZU.
Helpful job interview sharing from the experienced alumnus (MAY): 1. Speak with depth 2. Value work ethics 3. Work with patience 4. Learn public speeches. The alumnus mentioned the importance in winning others' approval is by effective communication and speaking with substance.
The IEM A2:C2 (Art Appreciation : Chinese Calligraphy)
The IEM students from different corners of the world and different paths on the Taiwan Island have come together to experience the famous traditional art of Chinese Calligraphy. They take a closer look into the beautiful Chinese art and history. The instructor employs stories behind various holidays into their calligraphy practices to deepen their impression in their Chinese language learning. The local students also get the chance to join in as participants or assistants to practice their English. Both foreign and local students take advantage such as this to make new friends and broaden their global outlook as they take a break from their busy class works in YZU.!
