¡@¡@The department held a creative and heartwarming "Christmas Tree Decorating Workshop" on November 27. Moving away from the tradition of merely "watching" a lighting ceremony, this event focused on "active participation and handmade decoration." The Director and students from various countries were invited to join together to create a festive atmosphere in the department building.
¡@¡@On the day of the event, students applied their attention to detail and logic to transform ordinary materials into exquisite wreaths, Santas, and snowman ornaments. While exchanging learning experiences, they remained focused on crafting their decorations, creating a relaxed and lively atmosphere.
¡@¡@After completing the ornaments, everyone gathered around the Christmas tree. Through collaborative effort, some were responsible for hanging sparkling garlands, while others carefully placed the handmade decorations on the branches. As the tree transformed from simple to magnificent through their collective work, the smiles on everyone's faces shone brightest. This tree is more than just a decoration; it symbolizes the team spirit of the IEM community¡Xtranscending nationalities and roles to achieve something beautiful together.
¡@¡@For international students studying far from home, this workshop felt more like a family gathering. Through handcrafting decorations, they shared the holiday traditions of their respective countries. To conclude the event, the Director joined all participants for a group photo in front of the hand-decorated tree, marking a perfect end to the wonderful afternoon.
¡@¡@Standing in the department building, this Christmas tree will accompany faculty and students through the cold end of the semester, continuing to convey warmth, hope, and the cohesive spirit of the IEM family.
